My first shoot of the new year! What a sweet, sweet thing with her mama's eyes. When shooting I've found that every kid responds to something different, and Sofia was completely not interested in my squeaky, green, tongue-lashing lizard (which admittedly does the trick for kids a little older). Her thing? She loved when I stuck my tongue out at her. She imitated me and giggled! Happy first birthday Sofie!
Little Brooks was really having a day of it. Wouldn't be put down outside. Wouldn't be picked up inside. Luckily he had a shovel. Crested Butte kids love to shovel. Pretty much every one I ever met. My kid even likes to rake the snow. Hey, whatever works :)
I never get tired of shooting in the alleys in town. I love the barn wood...the older the better. These guys wrapped up my Christmas rush on a day that felt quite springy, really. Happy holidays, may your season be peaceful and bright :)
