Lauralee and Josh

I have the opportunity to shoot a lot of elopements. When I tell my friends about them, they say "what are you doing there? I thought they're eloping!" What is usually the the case is that the couple wants a simple ceremony somewhere awesome, like Crested Butte, then they have a reception back home. Then they get to show off the photos at the reception and say, "See we did it, really!"

So this may be the first "authentic" elopement I've shot. These two didn't tell anyone. I think that is so cool.

Katie and Tim

This wedding originally started out as an elopement and ended up as a small wedding. Their families love them too much to let them get married alone! It was a stunning fall day, with a great, easy going couple. Here's the slideshow
