We just returned from a trip to sunny (seriously) Buffalo to visit with the inlaws. While there we took advantage of the fall colors and took some portraits. We were lucky enough to get some beautiful weather this time. Finally, since it seems that whenever we go we get a major snowstorm, no matter the season. How nice to see the many colors of Eastern trees.

Fall Colors

A few families took advantage of my promotion while the colors were peaking last week, and it was so beautiful out in the evenings. I love my new not so secret spot to shoot!

Allyn and Doug

Allyn and Doug married in the most quaint Baptist church in Lake City. Having only met them the morning of their wedding, I wasn't totally sure what to expect, but I was greeted with the most calm, yet excited smiles, and we had a great time shooting the portraits. Best of luck to a really nice couple!

Bridget and Caleb

After several days of pretty lousy weather, we were treated to an absolutely flawless Saturday. Bridget and Caleb were so fun and easy to work with, and totally comfortable in front of the camera. I was warned about the groomsmen being tough to handle, but they turned out to be a bunch of kittens. This fall they are off to Ireland to honeymoon, and if Bridget's parents' hopes come true, they will follow in their footsteps, as Ireland is rumored to be a very fertile land.
